The paleo diet fad is still going strong. I eat that way a lot, though I am not an adherent to the diet. I'm just allergic to wheat, so my diet just kind of follows along that way. Paleo cookbooks are great sources of gluten free recipes. When I got my first one the paleo thing was still a hippie thing. Now that it's more mainstream, there are a lot more of them. I'll should start increasing my collection.
